The workshop takes place over two days, 9-10 September, during the 14th European Conference on Digital Libraries (ECDL2010) in Glasgow, opening with an invited talk on Digital Library Interoperability: An Industrial Perspective by Alex Wade, Microsoft Research Cambridge, UK and featuring talks evaluated by an International Programme Committee.

The final session of the day is a brainstorming on the interesting area of Digital Libraries and Linked Data. Attendees will be invited to submit their own position statements on the DL.org approach to reference modelling and interoperability, before wrapping up the event.
