The presentation, which is led by Perla Innocenti, University of Glasgow and co-ordinator of DL.org's Working Group dedicated to Policy. The talk is co-authored by Giuseppina Vullo, University of  Glasgow and o-ordinator of the Quality Working Group and Seamus Ross, University of Toronto.

The talk focuses on:

  • Policy and quality within the DELOS Digital Library Reference Model, an expanded and enhanced version of which was published in November 2009.
  • Core policy and quality aspects affecting information systems.
  • The DL.org policy and quality interoperability frameworks.
  • Real-world cases on policy and quality interoperability.

The Archiving conference series aims to offer a unique opportunity for imaging scientists and those working in the cultural heritage community, curators, archivists, and ibrarians, as well as in government, industry, and academia, to come together to discuss the most pressing issues related to the digital preservation and stewardship of hardcopy, audio, and video.
