TPDL is the major European forum focusing on digital libraries and documents infrastructures together with associated technical, practical, and social issues, meeting the needs of a large and diverse constituency, which includes practitioners, researchers, educators, policy makers and users.
The Steering Committee of the Conference on "Theory and Practice of Digital Libraries" (TPDL) invites interested parties to submit bids to host TPDL in 2012. Parties interested in hosting TPDL 2012 are invited to submit proposals, in PDF format, by Monday 28th February, 2011 and by email to the TPDL Steering Committee:

a. Schedule: A three-day main conference is scheduled during September DD - DD 2012, preceded by "X" number of day(s) for tutorials and workshops.

e. Food: Coffee brakes, lunches
f. Internet access
g. Proceedings: Hard copy proceedings by the Springer's Lecture Notes on Computer Science series will be offered to all participants. Extra proceedings will be available at a reasonable price.

Careful and representative selection of the committee members will be defined after discussion with the Steering Committee. However the submitting institution proposes certain persons for the following positions:
