Six lectures follow, each on the core concepts captured by the Reference Model: content, user functionality, policy, quality and architecture with a Q&A session to consolidate understanding. The rest of the session is dedicated to hands-on experience of digital libraries with demos on D4Science, TELPlus, OpenAIRE and Europeana, concluding with a lecture on interoperability challenges and solutions. Registration for the event is through the ESWC website.

Preparation and follow-up of the Tutorial is provided in the form of:

  • Multimodal resources including recorded lectures on the Reference Model and core concepts alongside downloadable presentations: eTraining - Multimodal Resources
  • eCourses hosted on the Digital Library section of Wikiversity
  • eCourses on the DELOS Reference Model, from which the Model stems.
